The Robben Island Singers are currently available for booking at K-12 public schools, K-12 private schools, and higher educational institutions. As a group and in solo appearances, the Robben Island Singers have appeared at scores of Chicago-area high schools and colleges, ranging from Kenwood Academy High School on the South Side to Loyola University on the North Side of the city.

This unique engagement, triggered by film clips and accompanied by a full professionally-developed curriculum guide introduces your students to South Africa’s struggle against Apartheid through these former political prisoners’ life lessons in conflict resolution, forgiveness and community building.
